A Story To Move To

I love telling stories, especially to children who will laugh and smile with me, or to people whom I have never met. While a lot of the stories I tell are mine, many are not, and are retold to preserve a sense of importance. I have come to recognize that every story has value, whether it is mine or not. Some stories are so good that I would do them a dishonor to keep them to myself. For this reason I choose to share the story of an anonymous man whom I met about three years ago.

This is a story about redemption. This is a story about hope, about the goodness of humanity, and honesty and boldness and love. Most of all, this is a story about the power of community, and what happens when we move for important things.
